A Comissão de Freguesia de S. João do PCP, enquanto promotora do abaixo-assinado pelas obras de requalificação na EN 327, sempre se bateu pela melhoria das condições desta via estruturante da freguesia de S. João, nomeadamente no que respeita à segurança e funcionalidade para peões e automóveis.
A obra, consignada em Março de 2017, mantém no entanto problemas estruturais que importa corrigir, causando transtornos diários aos utilizadores daquela via.
A EN 327 necessita de ver repostas as tampas de saneamento, que se encontram soltas causando ruídos muito incomodativos de dia e especialmente de noite, durante as horas de sono da população.
Também as passadeiras desniveladas apresentam problemas, já que o uso tornou as suas rampas demasiado côncavas e incomodativas para quem circula, com saltos desnecessários e danos nas viaturas.
Estas rectificações já foram solicitadas por diversas vezes aos órgãos competentes. A solução adoptada parece ter-se limitado, infelizmente, a espalhar areia nas lombas – nem se dando ao trabalho de varrer o excedente, o que se torna inaceitável até do ponto de vista da segurança. Um autêntico e literal “atirar areia para os olhos” da população!
A obra possui garantia prevista no caderno de encargos e está ainda em vigor. O PCP estará atento, tendo o seu eleito na Assembleia de Freguesia da União de Freguesias, Paulo Pereira, enviado um requerimento à Câmara Municipal alertando-o novamente para esta situação, questionando sobre medidas a adoptar, exigindo o cumprimento do caderno de encargos e exortando a Câmara a exercer a sua acção fiscalizadora.
