Como é que a música entra na tua vida?
A música entra na minha vida de uma forma fantástica. Eu tenho a sorte, o orgulho, a gratidão, etc…de poder ter um bisavô com 100 anos, que outrora foi um grande Músico e Maestro…foi passando o seu “testemunho” pelos seus filhos…entretanto, nasce uma banda com os mesmos, até que um tio meu (seu filho) passado algum tempo vira artista na Venezuela…entretanto os meus avós, os meus tios e os meus pais passam pelo folclore tradicional português e eu depois com 3 anos de idade, começo ao lado do meu avô paterno a tocar bombo no rancho.
Referência importante é o teu avô, Aníbal Pimenta. Que recordação tens dele?
A recordação ou a maior lembrança que fica um dia, será certamente todo o seu legado musical, mas acima de tudo, os domingos à tarde, onde eu e Ele em sua casa estudávamos solfejo à mesa! É sem dúvida um motivo de orgulho fazer parte e ser o único “herdeiro”, de momento, desta família ligada à Música!
É um risco lançar novas canções em tempo de pandemia?
É sempre um risco, porque não sabemos qual a recetividade ou predisposição do nosso público para as ouvir. Mas a verdade é que a música é das poucas coisas que nos faz animar neste momento em tempo de pandemia e é uma forma também de não pararmos de trabalhar/inovar e ao mesmo tempo podermos surpreender aqueles que estão sempre junto de nós a apoiar-nos!
Depois destes temas vem aí um álbum ou EP?
Posso confidencializar que este ano de 2021, mesmo sendo um ano atípico, surgirão muitas novidades e algumas muito breves! Basta só acompanharem as minhas redes sociais!

A participação no “Olhá Sic”, foi um despoletar da minha felicidade e uma ajuda para relembrar que esta é a minha vida e que ainda tenho mais para fazer e o percurso ainda nem a meio vai! Foi o voltar acreditar ou o ser feliz novamente naquilo que é a minha paixão…a minha vida!
Estás a apontar para um grande verão de espectáculos?
Sim, estou com esperança que algumas coisas possam ser feitas…tenho já algumas datas marcadas…mas claro, o desenrolar desta pandemia é que ditará se os concertos, já agendados e os que poderão surgir, se farão ou não! Claro que se acontecer, depois tal como todos os artistas, conto com todas as entidades responsáveis pelas festas ou espetáculos (empresários, câmaras, juntas, comissões de festas…)
