Com o objetivo de capacitar jovens com conhecimentos práticos de robótica e programação, a Câmara Municipal de Ovar promoveu, no passado sábado, 22 de julho, o workshop «Cria Grátis o Teu Robot», uma iniciativa que marca o arranque da 3ª edição do «Ovar Youth Robotics». No final da sessão, cada participante levou para casa o robô que construiu, de forma totalmente gratuita.
“Temos vindo a incrementar a aposta na área da robótica de ano para ano e estamos extremamente satisfeitos com a resposta e o entusiasmo dos nossos jovens em relação ao «Ovar Youth Robotics»”, declarou Ruben Ferreira, Vereador da Juventude da Câmara Municipal de Ovar. O autarca sublinha que o projeto “foi pensado para promover o interesse em ciência, tecnologia e inovação”, ao mesmo tempo que visa cultivar “soft skills fundamentais para o futuro dos jovens, como autonomia, trabalho em equipa, pensamento crítico e resolução de problemas”.
